Dedicated to the Ancient Art of Freemasonry

Welcome to the Homepage of MasonicScholar.net

Freemasonry is the oldest and largest fraternity dedicated to the Brotherhood of Man, the Fatherhood of God, and the Immortality of the Soul.  Freemasonry is a society of men concerned with moral and spiritual values.  Freemasonry teaches its precepts by a series of ritual dramas, which follow ancient forms, and use stonemasons' customs and tools as allegorical guides.

Freemasonry was defined in the 19th century as a system of morality, veiled in allegory and illustrated by symbols.  It is a system, a path, or way of life that is impossible to describe by words alone.  It must be experienced, first hand, as an initatory process as opposed to an intellectual study from afar.  The ancient customs, traditions and landmarks of Freemasonry, originally installed to preserve and protect the esoteric teachings contained within, are still followed today in some manner or fashion by every regular Grand Lodge in the world.  Sincere seekers of Masonic Light (esoteric or metaphysical knowledge) have found the path of Freemasonry to be as relevant today as it was in ancient times.  Do not be misled by the external trappings of the Craft, nor the ignorant ramblings of those who do not understand its ways.  The deeper, hidden secrets of Freemasonry are still available to those who are willing to work on themselves and walk the ancient and honorable path towards Masonic Light.
